Hellooo people! We have been busy, busy as per usual. Reunion Island has been taken over by Stick It, Brazil is, as always, one of our favourite destinations, and we’ve been supporting underprivileged surfers around the place, especially in CUBA….

We are currently auctioning off a MOSAIC SURFBOARD in Manly (you’ll find it on display with some other auction boards in the Quiksilver display window on The Corso). The money raised will go towards supporting the Cuban Boardriders Team on their very first PASA (Pan American Surfing Association) Games being held in Brazil in November.

This is a HUGE deal for these guys, they have surfed boards made out of recycled refrigerator foam and tourist hand-me-downs in Cuba for many years, and now, thanks to a generous donation of 20 boards from Mark Kelly at Global Surf Industries, they have the opportunity to surf some brand new boards just for them! We at Stick It are also sending over a batch of wax so they don’t slip off, but we also thought it would be fun to recycle a broken board we found and raise some money to get some more supplies and some travel money for the guys on this momentous trip…

SOOO, for all of those who have seen the Cuban Board in the window of Quiksilver, Manly, or for those who have read some of the publicity about it, and would like to make an offer for the board please email us here at sales@stickitgroup.com and we will keep you informed of the highest bids so you can ensure you win the board!

The auction will finish on Tuesday the 10th of November at 8pm, so please show the Cuban surfers your support for their cause!!!

That’s all from us, we’re off to design another mosaic to put on a throw away board we just found in the council clean up!! Or maybe not, surfs up!!!
